As noted in Part 3 of Isaac Koi’s “Best UFO Cases” article (i.e. in the Part entitled Existing lists by various individuals), Jacques Vallee’s book “Challenge to Science : The UFO Enigma” (1966) included a list of 5 cases nominated by NICAP as being the best (see Footnote 3.12). Those cases were:
