On 24 January 1967.0217, a motion picture film of a UFO was allegedly taken by Mrs Stella V Lansing.

 

 

 

On 1 June 1967, photographs were purportedly taken of a UFO with a marking later associated with Ummo over San Jopse de Valderas, near Madrid, Spain.

This incident is Case 88 in Isaac Koi's "Top 100" article,  since it was referred to in 32 of the books covered by that article.

Ufologist Scott Corrales has commented that the Ummo affair is “without any doubt, the longest-running hoax in ufology”.

Jacques Vallee has suggested that “UMMO is certainly one of the best examples of the systematic application of confusion techniques in the paranormal field”.

 

On 20 May 1967, Steven Michalak claims to see, and be injured by, a UFO near Falcon Lake, Canada.

This incident is Case 50 in Isaac Koi's "Top 100" article,  since it was referred to in 54 of the books covered by that article.

This was Project Blue Book Case Number 11768.

This incident featured in a document (“the Rockefeller Briefing Document”) endorsed by Dr Mark Rodeghier (President of CUFOS), Richard Hall (Chairman of FUFOR) and Walter Andrus (President of MUFON) as containing “the best available evidence for the existence of UFOs”.

 

 

A meeting on 12-13th June 1967 at the University of Colorado was attended by USAF Captain C H Van Diver, Dr E Condon and project staff.
